Aidan Morgan will return to the Hurricanes No.10 jersey on Saturday after sustaining a concussion in spherical 4 towards the Waratahs.
Morgan replaces Brett Cameron, who injured his leg in final weekend’s win over the Drive in Palmerston North.
Captain Ardie Savea returns to No.8 following an All Blacks relaxation week whereas Dominic Chicken begins at lock forward of Isaia Walker-Leawere who was a late scratching.
On the bench, Peter Umaga-Jensen may have his first run of the season after shoulder reconstruction surgical procedure.
“Pete has labored arduous to get again enjoying and we’re actually glad to see him again on the sector,” Hurricanes coach Jason Holland stated.
“He is in good nick and can cowl 12 and 13 off the bench.”
Umaga-Jensen’s twin brother Thomas has been named to start out within the Highlanders No.12 jersey.
Star halfback Aaron Smith was unavailable for choice as he spends time along with his ailing father.
And younger Cam Millar will begin at No.10 after Mitch Hunt was a late scratching.
